After two years of freelancing, I’ve joined my longtime friends in building brand-new postproduction studio R.U.R. in Prague. We are going to focus on commercials, maybe movies in future etc. Wish us good luck and look forward seeing a lot of new stuff coming to my site soon.

At the end of year I finished modonaut challenge entry. But I don’t want to post it on website, character isn’t completed yet. If you’re interested in result you can visit Luxology forum and you can find my entry there. As I said, I’m going to finish this guy soon, I hope. I almost forget, I ended up on second place. Stay tunned for final piece.

Finally. I won challenge for the best model and as I prize, I received 3d print of Doggy’s game. I asked Jiri Stamfest, who is author of original concept, if he would be that nice to do the paintwork. So here is it. Huge thank to Jiri and Hacker, a printing company. And of course mainly to 3dstudio.cz for that challenge.

Finally, after 3 years of putting of it’s here. Movie which is really important for me. It was my first vfx work with great people. It was long year for us. I was working on it in UPP as 3d generalist, in the trailer you can see few pieces of my work. Such as building set extensions (models and textures), 3d motorcycles (very detailed model), Ratking and Ratqueen face models (in their rat natural shape) and mainly tunnel environment (modeling, texturing, and helping with renderpasses). My very talented colleague Martin Ruizl just finished his showreel. You can find there his incredible rigs made for short Antonio Cacto Reviejo de la Tebaida Mortifera movie, which we are working on. You can also see there my models from that movie, I hope that I’ll also show some renders from this piece soon.
